Many of our service providers maintain a steady clientele, To guarantee an appointment with your favorite provider and to avoid disappointment, simply schedule it well in advance. It is recommended to book your next appointment immediately after your service or services. This will guarantee availability with your service provider at a date and time that is convenient to you. Walk-ins are based on availability.

My favorite service providers are always so busy. How can I be sure they are available when it's convenient for me?

Many of our most popular service providers are industry leaders and maintain a steady clientele. To guarantee an appointment with your favorite provider, simply schedule it well in advance, usually this means scheduling it before leaving the salon. This guarantees availability with your service provider at a date and time that is most convenient to you.

Why do prices vary?

As a result of their achievements, our professionals work at various levels: junior and senior. While prices vary accordingly, every specialist is constantly improving through ongoing education. Whatever level you seek, you’ll enjoy superior service with a special touch to make your day.

What if I am late for my appointment?

If you are late for your scheduled appointment, we will try to accommodate your as best as we can. If you have exceed more than half of your appointment time, please note that we will have to reschedule your appointment for another day.

Spa Attire

Pure NV will provide you with a robe and slippers for your comfort when you are scheduled for three or more spa appointments.

Spa Environment

Our spa is a place of peace and tranquility, designed to provide a relaxing experience. To continue to provide this experience your co-operation is appreciated, please ensure that cell phones and other devises are turned off, maintain quiet conversations and refrain from bringing children into the spa area, unless they are receiving a service.

Appointment Times

To ensure a timely service to all our guests, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment to allow for check in procedures and full consultation. A complimentary confirmation call is given to remind you of your upcoming appointment times, to help us in ensuring your contact information is current, please check with the front desk.

How long should I grow my hair before waxing?

For optimal results, hair should be one quarter of an inch in length

How Much Should I Tip?

Tipping for a service in a salon or spa is typically handled as you would in a restaurant. As in all service related businesses, It is common practice to tip the person who has a good job to the satisfaction of the customer. Generally 10-20% of the service is appropriate, depending on how you feel the quality of the service was.

We do provide an envelope at the front desk upon checking out. These gratuities can also be added to your bill so there is no need to carry money with you while enjoying your services. Gift certificates do not include gratuities.

Massage Therapist FAQ

What should I expect when receiving a full body massage?

When arriving for your scheduled massage appointment, you will be greeted by our staff and given full instructions on how to prepare for your massage. Our therapist explains the entire process in detail so that you can make informed decisions regarding your individual preferences and needs for the service to maximize your comfort level.

Can I get a massage if I am pregnant?

Yes. Our therapist is trained in prenatal massage, but doctor’s approval is advisable. Please be sure to notify us when booking your appointment.

How far in advance should I call to schedule an appointment for a massage at the spa?

We recommend that you schedule massage appointments four – six weeks in advance to be sure you get the date you need.

What if I am late for my appointment?

If you are late for your scheduled massage appointment, we will try to accommodate you, but please understand that your appointment may need to be rescheduled.

Should I wash My hair before coloring or and updo

No, washing the hair will stip the hair of its natural oils, which are necessary when adding color or getting an updo. This will give the hair better holding properties and make it easier to work with.

Will PureNV donate to my orginazation?

Due to the tremendous amount of donation requests we receive each year we are limited to a certain amount but will take each request into consideration.

HAIR EXTENSIONS (SoCapTM / CrisaceTM)

socapPure NV uses only human hair. We utilize two systems; CrisaceTM and SoCapTM, to give the guest multiple choices to obtain the look they desire.
There are many options for hair extensions from bonded to tape-in to provide the guest options.

What are hair extensions?

The hair extension service is a service where pieces of hair are bonded to the ends of your natural hair to create a long hair look or add thickness to your natural hair.

Are hair extensions real hair or synthetic hair?

CrisaceTM and SoCapTM extensions are 100% authentic human hair.

How do the hair extensions stay in my hair?

CrisaceTM and SoCapTM Hair Extensions are bonded to your natural hair with a unique keratin protein bond.

Will hair extensions cause damage to my natural hair?

CrisaceTM and SoCapTM Hair Extensions are non-damaging to your natural hair.

Will people be able to see the extension bonds?

Pure NV and our trained technician feel CrisaceTM and SoCapTM are the most natural looking extension process we can offer to our clients. They blends very well with your natural hair and utilizes real hair for the most natural look.

How much do hair extensions cost?

A hair extension application first requires a complimentary consultation from our extension specialist who will inspect your hair’s condition and discuss with you your desired outcome. The price will vary based on thickness of your hair, the texture, and the length you wish to achieve. A lengthening service generally starts at $1500. Services for fullness, adding highlights and dimension, or a few flashes of vibrant color can cost considerably less than a lengthening service

Do I pay for the service all at once?

You are required to pay for one half of the total quoted price of the service at the time of the consultation when booking the appointment. A credit card number will be taken for the balance of the service in the event you cancel the service less than 48 hours prior to the appointment.

How long does the hair extension service take?

A hair extension application can vary in length of time, depending on the amount of hair you want and the thickness of your natural hair. The service takes an average of 5 hours.

Do I need a haircut after the extension application?

A haircut or coloring may be required to complete the hair extension service and to blend the extensions with your natural hair and create a beautiful, natural looking style. The haircut price is not included in the quoted price for the hair extension service.

What if my hair is colored, permed, or relaxed?

If you color, perm, or relax your hair it is important that you have this done one week prior to the application of your extensions. We recommend that you return to PureNV for all chemical services while you are wearing Great Length extensions to ensure that professionals familiar with the CresaceTM and SoCapTM extensions are performing the service.

With hair extensions, will I be able to blow dry, straighten, or curl my hair?

Hair dryers, curling Irons, flat irons and hot rollers are safe to use with hair extensions. Be prepared for your regular styling routine to change – longer, thicker hair does take more time to style.

How long will my hair extensions last?

The CresaceTM and SoCapTM hair extensions will last approximately three to six months, depending on individual hair growth and the type of service done.

How are the hair extensions removed?

Hair extensions require professional removal by appointment with your CresaceTM and SoCapTM Extensions Specialist. Removal can take anywhere from two to six hours based on the number of extensions and the maintenance of the extensions during wear. An hourly fee is charged for removal.

Will any of my hair extensions fall out?

Some extension loss is normal and to be expected.

How long will the hair extensions last?

Bonded Hair extensions can last from 3 to 6 months depending on how well they were applied, the care the stylist and client give them, the length of the client’s hair, and how fast the client’s hair grows. The longer the client’s hair is, the better it will cover the hair extension bonds allowing them to “grow out” more without being seen.

Tape in extensions will last 6-8 weeks.

Can I still colour the client's hair if they have extensions?

Yes! The client’s hair should be coloured 2-3 days before placement of the hair extensions and any time 2-3 weeks after the application.

Can they get hair conditioner on the bonds?

If the bond is correctly applied to the hair, the client will be able to shampoo and condition the same way they always treated their hair.

What about styling products?

As long as the bonds have been properly applied and closed on the client’s hair, there is no reason to worry about using any type of styling products on the hair extensions.

Do I have to wash the hair everyday or can I skip days in between?

With hair extensions, many people find they shampoo less during a week because the hair is fuller than normal and doesn’t get as oily, flat, or unkempt looking as their own hair.

However, many woman who exercise daily wash their hair extensions every day with no adverse effects on the condition or longevity of their new hair.

Can the hair extensions air dry naturally?

When the proper application procedures are followed, the keratin bond is completely sealed. You will be able to blow dry or let your hair extensions dry naturally.

If they are taking medications, will that affect their hair extensions?

If one of the side effects of their medication is excessive hair loss or increased shedding, then they will lose more because of their own hair shedding. Medications in no way affect the hair extensions themselves.
